The first sexy, captivating, stand-alone novel in the brand-new FIGHT FOR ME series from NYT & USA Today Bestselling Author A.L. Jackson . . .

Rex Gunner. As bitter as he is beautiful.

The owner of the largest construction company in Gingham Lakes has been burned one too many times. His wife leaving him to raise their daughter was the last blow this single dad could take. The only woman he’ll let into his heart is his little girl.

Rynna Dayne. As vulnerable as she is tempting.

She ran from Gingham Lakes when she was seventeen. She swore to herself she would never return. Then her grandmother passed away and left her the deed to the diner that she once loved.

When Rex meets his new neighbor, he knows he’s in trouble.

She’s gorgeous and sweet and everything he can’t trust.

Until she becomes the one thing he can’t resist.

One kiss sends them tumbling toward ecstasy.

But in a town this size, pasts are bound to collide. Caught in a web of lies, betrayal, and disloyalty, Rex must make a choice.

Will he hide behind his walls or will he take the chance . . .

REVIEW

Show Me the Way kicks off the new Fight for Me series by A.L. Jackson.  I'm happy to say that this book is just as compelling a read as every other I've picked up by this author.  It had everything I love from her writing, fresh characters, an intriguing story line, a touch of mystery and a bit of heartbreak and a reasonable amount of swoon.

I was lost in the beauty of this story from the moment I turned on my kindle.  Sucked into the lives of Rex and Rynna and enticed to read more and figure out just what will be coming next for these two.  Rynna pulled me in from the moment we meet her, curious to learn more about her and see where her future led her.   Rex was another hot hero - but he had a lot of heart, it just took awhile to see it all.  He comes off as a strong man - determined to do right by his child on his own, repair his business and handle anything else alone.   Both of these characters have pain in their hearts and minds and that pain has made them who they are.  Question is - can they move past it and find what they've been missing in each other?  Will they let their hearts guide them or will the let the past and their ghosts chase them away from finding happiness?

Grab your copy of Show Me the Way and dive into this new world to see where A.L. Jackson's new series will take you.  I, for one, can't wait to see more in the future books.
