My Review:

Hard to Break was an enticing read that pulls you in from the start. Immediately you get a feel for the main characters and who they might be.

My first thoughts of Quinn were that she was dealt a hand she didn't deserve in life and that she was a strong woman because of it.  She tries very hard to make things work without breaking down and she comes across as very loyal, almost to a too much extent at times.  She's also very determined to prove herself as a mechanic, tired of being found lacking because of her gender.   She finds that she's losing the one thing in life that mattered to her and its breaking her heart, worse still is the betrayal she feels took it from her.

I felt bad for Quinn for the things she dealt with at home, but I also had to admire that she kept doing it and tried to keep the specifics hidden from everyone. She felt so alone, but was trying to keep her father from suffering any further and I had to commend her for that.

Tazen is a little annoying in his cockiness, but he's also HOT.  He can also be a gigantic jerk who you want to punch half the time. It took a while, but he won me over and stole me to understanding him. He's got issues he's dealing with, things from his past he regrets and wants to remove himself from, but he's keeping secrets too.

Hard to Break was filled with action and drama but also often hilarious with fabulous banter between Quinn and Tazen.  Lots of steam too, and a heavy dose of sparks and tension.  I enjoyed watching the two of them sort of combust together.  I liked that though there was an instant connection of sorts, that there was no rush, Quinn didn't fall into Tazen's arms right away or let herself be taken in by him either.  Their relationship progressed an even pace, though they fought it.

All in all the story was amazing and I loved the characters. When a story sucks you in and pulls on your emotions, it is an absolute winner.  Quinn and Tazen definitely brought out the feelings in me.
